REALIZATION OF DEVOTEES

Suryaputri Yamuna Devi Dasi

The first ever One Day Padayatra organized in Sangli was the real nectar and an inspirational experience. Walking and walking through the streets of Sangli, devotee bullocks pulling the magnificent bullock cart carrying Gaura-Nitai and Srila Prabhupada, the mercy of the Lordships was emanating in all directions.

Devotees coordinated the constant distribution of prasadam, most of the devotees walking along also distributed Srila Prabhupada books. I am very grateful to the devotees who organized this program. Walking together and serving in corporation with the mood of pleasing the spiritual master brought devotees close to each other.

I hope we can do more service like this for the pleasure of our spiritual master in near future.

Shantaram Dasa

I realized that Padayatra is one of the best ways of preaching. This made devotees come together to distribute Krishna in the form of prasadam, holy name, books and deity darshan. Due to this padayatra, all devotees came together, distributed services amongst themselves and helped each other to carry out services properly.

People were very amazed to see the Lordships on traditional ox-cart and to receive sweet prasadam. Singing holy names loudly together was very pleasing to chanters as well as listeners. Many new people were taking part in congregational chanting of holy names. Organizers had nicely arranged refreshing juices several times to keep devotees fresh during 7.5 km walk.

Padayatra ended at Uttaradi Math at Vishnu Ghat on banks of river Krishna which belongs to Madhvacharya Sampradaya who provided a place for katha, cooking and lunch prasadam without taking any charges.

I really appreciate padayatra as it made all participants to come together rising above all differences. At the end of padayatra, all were happy as Krishna sitting in all our hearts was happy with the cooperation amongst devotees to please our spiritual master. All of us are eagerly waiting for the next one day padayatra.

This is the way of living happy and blissful life.
