Padayatra reached Kendpali, Bargarh Odisa on 2nd May 2023. It’s a very special village for us padayatris because it is the village of our dear most senior God brother Rupa Goswami Dasa. He is our Ex All India padayatra leader. So, we were at his village Kendpali. This village has given us a wonderful devotee. This is such a wonderful village as the entire village is full of devotees. It was heart-touching, as we entered the village, they welcomed us with sankirtana and garlands. They did arati of Sri Sri Nitai Guarasundar.
We celebrated Narsimha Caturdasi and the entire village participated, as well as devotees from nearby 4-5 villages also joined. Rupa Goswami Dasa’s family sponsored the entire expenditure of the festival and donated Twenty Thousand Rupees. They are five brothers, and Rupa Goswami Dasa is the 4th in the sequence.
All other brothers are married and have children. His family is a big joint family. They have their ancestral home. His father is also a devotee and nearby villagers show immense respect towards him. Many people bought Tulasi beads to wear on their necks. Nearly 100 people bought chanting beads and all are chanting regularly. All India Padayatra visited this village in 2015 and at that time Rupa Goswami Dasa was in charge of it.
All India padayatra was in a nearby village so he brought it to his village also where it stayed for seven days, even at that time grand program was held. Padayatra had come after resumed after 18 long years. Rupa Goswami Dasa is a Brahmacari, a very good devotee who delivers very good lectures. With the mercy of Lord Krishna, we got his association.
