The Aravade to Pandharpur Dindi Padayatra was started in 2002 by ISKCON Aravade under the guidance and inspiration of our spiritual master, Lokanath Maharaja. Every year this dindi walks from Aravade to Pandharpur in the month of Chaitra. So this was the 21st year. It’s an annual and unique event and all devotees wait for the festival every year.
The padayatra is filled with spiritual joy and happiness. Every village we go villagers welcome us as this is a yearly event and dindi is part of life of the maharastrain villages as it land of Saint Tukarama. Dindi is a culture here, warkaris walk every year from their respective villages to meet their beloved Lord Panduranga. It was 8 days holy walk.
