Even though Padayatra Andhra Pradesh has now only four devotees – the leader Vishnu Swamy Dasa, Srinivas Sevananda Dasa, Ramanuja Dasa and
Chandra Mouli- the preaching is still going strong, and the response good, especially in villages. They are now about 90 kms away from Hyderabad.
In the month of August 2014 the bullock cart padayatra party traveled 86 kms to nineteen villages and four towns (Nalgonda, Narketpally, Chityal
Munugodu and Chandur) in the Nalgonda district of the Telangana state. The book score for the month was : 250 big books, 40 medium and 2500 small ones.
Since the beginning of the Andhra Pradesh padayatra, devotees have walked through 280 villages and towns. Visnu Swami’s goal is to cover at least
1000 villages and distribute 100,000 books. Everything is possible, by the mercy of Sri Sri Gaura Nitai and the enthusiastic efforts of the devotees !
