By Administrator

Apr 19, 2016

Better use a regular camera than a cell phone, which produces only mediocre photos.

JUST SEND YOUR BEST PHOTOS

No need to send all the ones you took.  Choose the best ones from the technical point of view,  and a variety of them (close-up and general) corresponding to all the aspects of your padayatra :

-Leaders (including yourself) and devotees (men, women, children, teenagers, elderly devotees)

– Special guests : gurus, sannyasis, senior devotees (vaisnavas and vaisnavis)

-Cart and Deities

– Harinam and processions (in villages, cities, countryside)

– Animals ( oxen, horses, elephants, etc) : on the road, eating, resting, being bathed or brushed, etc

– People  you meet : hosts, guests, officials, mayors,  priests, etc

– Preaching and book distribution

– Festival programs (lectures, dances, theatre, bhajans and kirtans, gopi dots making,

dancing contests, etc

-Cooking  (kitchen truck or other kind of kitchen), cooks , plates of prasadam

– Food for life distribution

ALWAYS REMEMBER to  write captions for the photos:

We need to know, when and where it took place, who is on the photo, what is taking place.

Please write,   separately in a list  OR  in the name of the photo itself, some of this info:

  • Where did it take place? town, village, in which state, etc
  • When did that happen (when appropriate)? Date as exact as possible
  • What happened?: an inauguration, a visit to life members, an accident, etc
  • Who was in the picture (especially the main devotees or people)? If you have a VIP in the photo, give his name and title (ex: minister of industry, Gujarat)

DO NOT SEND ME THE LINK where to find your photos as I cannot always access them.

NB : Thanks for sending the photos

1-separately from the article,

2-in attached files
