On May 11, 2022, the All-India padayatris began our char dhama yatra, a pilgrimage in Uttarakhand high in the Himalayas that includes Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath and Badrinath.

We will go via Rishikesh and after a one-day stay there will move ahead. We have utsava deities of Sri Sri Nitai-Gaurasundar with us and soon the Maharashtra and Uttar Pradesh padayatris will join us.

Some congregation devotees have also joined the padayatris for this special yatra. This is the AIP’s seventh visit to the Himalayas. We also have our former padayatra leader, Rupa Goswami dasa, with us. It’s very blissful walking and singing the holy names alongside mother Ganga and the Himalayas. It will take about forty days to complete the yatra.

It will be a wonderful and adventurous spiritual experience. We will pray to Sri Sri Nitai-Gaurasundar that all those who are reading this article can join this char dhama yatra with us once in this lifetime.

Please pray for us that we can complete their yatra uneventfully.

Videos and photos will be posted on our Facebook page and YouTube channel.
