The ISKCON Abids temple organised a Ratha-yatra in Hyderabad July 14th. Our bullock cart carrying Sri Sri Gaura Nitai led the procession in front of the chariot of Lord Jagannath, Baladev and Subhadra. Thousands of devotees from the states of Telangana and Maharashtra participated in that joyful festival. There was a 10 km long procession walking through the heart of the city of Hyderabad. Thousands of people took selfies from their mobile phones; even police officers enjoyed the occasion. The presence of our padayatra cart and devotees at this Ratha-yatra remains a very memorable event for me.
